Steven, I love your work! I, myself, am a starving artist and I'm desperately seeking advice on how to price my work. I paint wildlife on rocks, wood and canvas using acrylic paint. How do I go about getting my work appraised? In other words, can you tell me how I might draw attention to my work? I would appreciate any advice that you may have for me. Thank you!

I'll be taking these bird paintings and any spare change in the register! Steve, great site. I always knew the talent was there even from the early flipper drawings. Seriously, I was very impressed with your work on the site. Are you going to be in bham anytime soon for a show etc? I wish you continued success. John
Just surfing tonight, linked to your site from another art site. Lovely, lovely, lovely! your art, your wife and site. What an inspiration you are to all striving artists! you and your wife both holding down full-time jobs and able to produce the quantity not to mention the QUALITY. Your wife needs to design web pages for a living. I'm 48,married with 3 children, and have been painting for just under 3 years and have completed about 50 paintings. What a struggle it has been to create the quiet time to paint. Art is plentiful but beautiful art is a rarity. Best of luck for continued success.
You don't actually believe everything you read, do you? I'm just kidding. Beautiful work, Whitney (you too, Steve). Need more elephants. ROLL TIDE!!
Truly wonderful work you have done Steven!! Keep it up, it will take you far in your life....
Hello, I came across your website while surfing for other wildlife artists. I paint too and from time to time I like to see what else is being done by other artists. I'm happy to say I'm impressed with your work. All the best of success to you in the future!
STEVEN, CONGRATULATIONS, I AM VERY IMPRESSED WITH YOUR ART WORK,KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK. I KNOW YOUR MOM AND DAD ARE VERY PROUD OF YOU. YOUR DAD AND I WORKED FOR THE SAME COMPANY FOR YEARS AND I REMEMBER SEEING SOME OF YOUR ART WORK A FEW YEARS BACK. GOOD LUCK STEVEN.
What truly awesome work you have done. You are so very talented. I love wildlife prints. Keep up the great work!
It is great to work with someone that is this talented. Your work is very realisic. Keep up the good work. More wolves and cardinals!
Your work is truly superb!!! I look forward to seeing more of your work and adding some to my collection.
Amazing art. You´ll be hearing from me in the future.
Scott Crawford forwarded on the story from the Decatur Daily and we just had to check out your website. Your work is truly awesome! We had no idea we went to church with such a fantastic artist. We love wildlife!
Just Beautiful! I saw the prints in your Father-in-laws office and had to see more! Keep up the beautiful work.
Steven and Whitney, You may not remember me. I am Karen's (of Scott& Karen) uncle Skip. Scott passed this marvelous web site along to me. Steven, your art work is outstanding. Very few artists have reached the degree of realism you have, it's almost hypnotic. You expect (wish) that at any moment something will move. With the web site and internet exposure I'm sure you will soon be overwhelmed with requests and commissions. The best of blessings to you and Whitney in this exciting new future. Don't ever compromise your artistic talents and ideals.
Steven, you certainly have a wonderful talent. Wondered if you know Richard Bruce. He did work at Huntsville Hospital in the Cardiology Unit. He does the drawings for his wood carvings and sculptures in bronze, and was a featured artist at the Charlston, SC, Show a couple of years ago. Keep up the wonderful work. Would love to see some paintings or prints in a larger size. Maybe I can view your prints at the Decatur Show.
Bobby gave me your site and I did not know I was working with such a talented person.
Steve, Bobby sent me the link to your website, and we are impressed!! I knew you were talented, but had no idea the extent of it. It's obvious that art is your true calling! We will check back from time to time. I'm sure its only a matter of time before you can devote all your energy to your work.
hi- i finally got on the computer and looked at your site. supah-dupah good job. keep it up.
AWSOME. We had no idea that you had this much done. Looks like you have been pretty busy. Best of luck.
Hey Stephen! WOW!!! I am so proud of you! I always knew you would do well. ALL of these paintings are absolutely beautiful. Best wishes! Stephanie :)
Hacía bastante tiempo que no veía algo hecho con tan buen gusto. Ojalá algún día tenga dinero suficiente como para comprarte uno. Seguí así. Javi.
My husband and I enjoyed your art work at the Jamestown Nature art show this August. We hope to see you next year at the show and make a purchase of an orginal work.
AWESOME!!! My son and I have just reviewed your site whilst surfing the net. I am an Australian wildlife and people artist and am just in awe of your phenomenal talent. Continued success in all your future artworks. Cheers.
I thought your pictures were really beautifully done. I enjoyed how you captured the image of the animal. The background was beautiful also.
I saw you today at the art show in Jamestown, NY. This was a show of shows. Looking for a Cardinal, I have chosen yours. As much as I would like the original, I will have to settle for a print. By the way, I'm a radiological technoligist also. Your paintings are breathtaking and your wife has done a marvelous job with the site!!!!!
Steve and Whitney - Stuart and John have been hounding me to check out your website! I am glad I finally did! If it looks this good on a computer screen, I can only imagine how awesome it looks in person! The wildlife seems to jump out at you, and the realism and detail are unbelievable! I especially enjoyed the "Morning Stretch". What inspires the wildlife you choose to paint? You capture the wildlife and surroundings in ways that can't be described, and you include details that would go unnoticed by the naked eye! Great job! I am so happy for the two of you. You have turned your passions into such success! Congrats! and best of luck with all your future endeavors! Remember the little people you knew along the way when the two of you make it big! If you are ever in the D.C. area, our door is always open to you! In Christ, Matthew and Jessica Pyburn
Hi Steven- Enjoyed being next to you and your wife at the Kansas City Show. We'll be there again this year, hope you will be also. Hope your website is working out for you. If your at the show I'll talk to you about it there. Good Luck - Greg
Just viewed your web site. Have a swan and a blue bird painting that we are enjoying. Looking forward to seeing you in KC at your next show!
Hi¡ Steven, your are a great artist. I like very much your artowrks especially your paintings with snow. I am a spanish wildlife artist but unfortunately, like you, I can´t to paint full-time...Here, in Spain, there aren´t very interest in wildlife paint. Congratulations for your work. Luis M. Cuaresma.
Steven....it has been wonderful perusing your artwork!! I was beginning to despair of any NEW wildlife artists.. You have renewed my fervor! I pray you will do more eagle work....so little to be found in the gentle, graceful flight they display!
Steven & Whitney, I just checked out the website for the first time. I am very impressed with your artwork. The animals look as though they could jump off the canvas. I got a feeling your days at the hospital are numbered. Keep up the good work and your dreams will be fulfilled. Also, tell Whitney she is in the wrong line of work. She should be a website designer.
Hi! Nice home page - keep those geese flying. I am sitting with your Dad here ( on a business trip to Montreal) and thought we would check out your site. Have a nice day.
Hey Whit and Stevie! I am showing everybody at work your wonderful website and everybody loves it!!!!!! They think that you are the greatest artist in the whole entire galaxy !! See ya later!!!LOve-Lar
I stumbled upon your site, great stuff. Hey we may even be related.
I came across your site while surfing. Your artwork is absolutely stunning. You have a great gift. Keep up the great work and best wishes:)
Do you have anything showing the Florida Black Bear? We are trying to find some work to show in the lobby of our new school who's mascot will be the Florida Balck Bear. Your work is beautifully done. Thank you.

The art work is beautiful. I wish I experience it up close and personal! Winning a piece would be a treasure in our household.
all of your time you placed into your art , is sold for too little sir!!! Maybe this isn't the source for any interests in the natural world. Your talent should be enjoyed in the world that it originated from and proliferat to the environment it was created for Please Keep Painting , If Yuo FEEEEl It Do ITTTTTTT!!!! Go With It In an an agengy that will Expose you well....
I don't know what I could add to the already great comments about your art. The sad thing about finding great art like yours on the net is that it takes so much time to find good artists through all the bad ones. There has to be a way to eliminate the hassle. Ther needs to be a web ring of the best of the best artists with strict juried proceedures.
Saying your paintings are beautiful to my heart are inadequate words. The painting of the wolf was so awesome. Thank you for sharing your gift. I would buy one if I had the money. Maybe one day...
Hi Steven, You certainly have a wonderful talent, you should be very proud of yourself!I'm still in the process of building my website but come and check it out if you like, I'm still developing my talent & is not quite yet to your level, but it's getting there. Best Wishes, Tracy
Outstanding website and fantastic art! It's good to find a high quality, local source for wildlife art.
Hi Steven! The family steered me to your site and I'm thankful they did. Your work is great. I'm glad you found your way back to your art. It would be a shame for talent like yours to go unused. Keep up the good work
I was very impressed by your work. It is absolutely amazing!. Iused to draw in pencil also, then I took some oil painting classes, but I never pursued as much as you did, maybe one day. I love animals, I always have as much as drawing. Recently I visited Yellowstone and got to see animals up and close, your "peeking through" reminds me of one of those special moments I will never forget. I see you like detail also. It is nice to know that ohter people have your similar interests. Hope to see more of your work on the web in th future if not an exposition down here in Texas. Good Luck!! Sincerely, Karen
Whitney I have known your dad now for over 30 years. As a matter of fact he was my 1st boss at PPG starting way back in the summer(JUNE) of '69. Terry knows that I like wildlife especially wolves and Steve you have a very great talent and it shows. I don't know if you ever met my daughter at Huntsville Hospital but she is Michelle Harris and is now working radiology for SportsMED. Hope all continues to go well for the two of you and your families. Larry
Whitney, I worked with your dad for several years, he told me about the webb page. The art is great, the webb page is a success! I will be ordering a couple of prints, really loved the blue birds! Check you out later.
I'm very impressed with your art work. I am also a wildlife artist. 'Till recently I've only used colored pencils and soft pastels as my medium of choice. Lately though, I've started using airbrushes and acrylics on masonite. I was wondering how long it takes you per piece and also how much do you typically pay for matts and frames? I would be very interested in talking with you about pricing, prints vs origs.& galleries vs craft/art shows etc. Anyways I,ve enjoyed your artwork and how it looks so alive, the look your artwork displays is something I'm also trying to achieve. Well, thanks again and I hope to here from you. Tim
I relly have enjoyed your beautiful artwork...it is fabulous..Great job...I to am a wildlife nut...and I love wolves especially...thanks for sharing your beautiful work with all of us
Great Job Guys!!! I love the revisions to the web-site! Keep up the good work!

I like your art. The world is full of artist like us , and I think we should encourage an Artist to go after their dreams.Keep up the good work. You are good.
Very nice, I am beginning to paint wildlife which has always been a dream for me as well, I can only hope to be half of what you have done. Best wishes.
Whit & Steven - Your site is quite impressive. The artwork is even better than I remember - Good luck and don't forget about us little people. I miss you guys.
Alana and I did not realize how good your art was. I am pretty good with firger paints! Whitney did a great job on the web site. P.S. WE WERE TOLD THAT THERE WOULD BE FOOD HERE

Steven my distant cousin dennis McElyea sent your web site to me and I think your work is beautiful. I just started trying my hand at art in earlier this year and find it a relaxing hobby. Thanks for the fine painting. I got your name and URL from one of my travels- - I believe in the ATL area. I appreciate your work very much and will be taking closer looks at it in the future. In the meantime - - keep it up. My son lives in the same town as you do by the way. Phil Johnson at 828-6871 for a home number. He owns and operates a graphic arts business there. You might want to give him a call as he has all kinds of reproduction equipment as well as scanning. Fr. Jim Johnson Nashville, TN
It just keeps on getting better and better ! well done !!
Wonderful art, wonderful website...what a pleasure to find a site that is so well done!
Beautiful work ! Very nice color & composition .
First of all let me apologize for having two entries here, my fingers don't always mind me. Second of all let me tell you how much my husband and I enjoyed viewing your art. My favorites were peeking thru and stretching. He couldnt decide he loved them all. If I ever get money coming in again I'd love to have a print of stretching.
I would like to thank you for the very nice comments you wrote in my guest book. Your work is incredible, I only wish I wish that I would have a talent such as yours. You have a real gift!!! Thanks again, keep up the good work! Chris
Steven, I am your mother's first cousin Jerry Coble (my mother is your grandfather David's sister). We just celebrated Dave and Adelaide's 60th anniversary and got to see Dan for the 1st time since 1983. I visited your site after talking to your mom and dad. Your work is truly beautiful. Let me know if you do one or more with Red-tailed Hawks. They're one of my favorites. All the best, "Cuz" Jerry
Great work. I love the realism in your paintings. Great details. I do a little painting also, I don't think they are as great as yours. Keep up the great work.
GO VOLS!!You do great work!
Heard about your site from Jeanie Washam today. Boy, am I impressed! You are very talented. Keep up the good work. I am impressed with the web site as well. Very user friendly.
I have been surfing the web for family friendly sites. Yet I am looking for creativity and hard work. I really enjoyed my visit to your site. I will be sending you an email to explain why I have been looking for great sites. Your page is very nice. You have been spied on by Agent Wild~Cat From The Web Brawls Spy AgencyICQ# 12338593 Where the seeds of friendship bloom :-)
Hi, Steve; David sent me your URL. We are 3rd cousins
(I think) as your great-grandfather Earl was my uncle; my dad
being Roy A Moyers, Sr. I am really impressed with your work and so glad
that David sent me the address; keep up the good work! If you can think
of it, drop me a line and let me know where the next show is. My brother
Roy Jr and I would like to attend. We both love wild life. And, if you
have a few minutes, please visit my site and sign my guestbook. Be patient
though; mine isn't laid out as nicely as yours. The outfit I am using has
pre-defined pages and they are very structured and therefore severely limits
what one can do with them. Once again, really enjoyed the pics and wish
you all the best with your God-given talent!
